OPEN HOUSE – Saturday, April 14 1 – 4 p.m.

This weekend looks to be a nice one to get out and enjoy some sunshine! While you are out stop by the shop and enjoy some refreshments, see if your a lucky door prize winner, visit with our amazing teachers and sign up for a class…or two…or three! If you need some inspiration for your next project, this week is your week. The boxes arrived with all sorts of magazines and books to make your muse smile.

Australian Patchwork and Quilting, Quilts & More, American Patchwork & Quilting, plus the supplement magazine. If these do not get your fabric juices flowing, maybe these books will.

There’s Simply Creative Quilts by Maya Chaimovitch, City Block by Nancy Rink and Creative Quilts from your Crayon Box by Terrie Linn Kygar.

We’ve updated the April – June, 2012 class schedule. There are two links below. The first link will open up in regular newsletter style and the second link will open up in calendar style.

We wanted to leave you with a request for special thoughts of rest and healing for a very special lady. Irene Erdei, co-owner of What’s Your Stitch ‘n Stuff with her daughter Holly, and known by many here as “Shop Mom” recently broke bones in her left leg. She had successful surgery and is resting amid some pain in the hospital.

Irene is quite the happy lady who enjoys her time with fellow quilters. We ask that you keep “Mom” in your thoughts during her recovery. We miss you, Irene!
