Sunny Saturday

We are now on the ferry, leaving beautiful Victoria Island…The real world is waiting, just on the other side of the bay.  But for the next two hours, this will be our view.

Yesterday, we spent a lot of time at Butchart Gardens.  They are absolutely amazing!  We lived with 100 miles of them for ten years, but never visited…

Once again the weather was beautiful, high of about 70 degrees.  (I have not even looked at the Virginia Beach weather).

This is part of the sunken garden.

Can you see the hummingbird in the center of the photo?

Notice the guy in the waders?

My husband even looks like he is enjoying the gardens…We went back to the gardens in the evening and the Victoria symphony was playing.  Eventually, they spotlight  the gardens and you can walk through them in the dark.  It was really very nice.

I did find a little quilt shop to wander through!!!  More about that another time.

Later, Sandra
