Monday Madness

Vacation Bible School started today at church.

We had 15 preschoolers in our class!

I’m sure the week will go by really, really fast!  Right?  Work with me here!

Next we had a quilt guild board meeting at Panera, then back to church for the afternoon for a guild sewing event!  Yikes, working full time is easier then this!

I did get some stitching done on my newest project.

This is a new pattern from Threads That Bind called, A Gentle Life.

Here is the pattern cover.  I used Primitive Gatherings aged cotton for a background.  This is fabulous stuff to work with.  We have the fabric in five different colors, and it is really a nicely toned piece to show off your work.  I know a lot of the ‘girls’ who do Civil War reproductions are using this fabric too.

We also have the new book coming from Bonnie Sullivan of All Through the Night.

Moda has a fabulous full color preview of the book (as well as many other new books).  Check it out at   http://modafabrics.blogspot.com/

By the way…anyone want some fresh peppers or zucchini?

Because my husband just brought in another armload…

Later, Sandra
