Lil’ Twister Strikes Again

Last week when I was at the quilt show in Roanoke I noticed that almost every vendor’s booth had a sample of a “lil twister” quilt!  We brought back the pattern and ruler from quilt market last May, and we’ve had a lot of fun with it!  Fun and different and unique!

Here is the original sample we made with it.

This booth arranged it as a table runner.

Love, love, love this one out of Jo Morton fabrics!

How about out of batiks…

One for autumn.

And one for Christmas.

Here is how the pattern and ruler come packaged.  $10 I believe…

The whole process is so easy!  Using five inch squares you make a quilt top, then using the ruler you recut the top into squares and sew them back together to form the ‘twister’ effect!  There is also a larger ruler that makes a larger quilt block.  You simply start with ten inch squares.  Really, very, very easy!

Come in and see our sample and give this pattern a try.  You too will be hooked on it!

By the way, Holly has added a new post to the cooking blog, check it out.
