Blue Angel fabric has arrived! Lots of other stuff too!

Being a big Navy town we love to see new novelty fabric that depicts the military.  How is this for a great piece!  Blue Angels, how about that Kim?

The fabric is from Kaufman, and they also have a free down loadable pattern to make this quilt.  A 43″ x 48″ quilt, great for a little boy who is crazy about planes.  (Or even a big boy…)  The  pattern is available at

Also new from Kaufman this week is a reorder of the Cat in the Hat.  Yes, we’ve had it before, but it sold so fast and we had so many people looking for it we got it in again.

Did any of you see the cute Yellow Brick Road quilt made from the Dr. Suess fabric in the shop?

Also, new in the shop is a new shipment of batiks!  Light and dark backgrounds for a new batik block of the month we have coming soon…

And because when it rains it pours..  We also got in about eight bolts of Summer Breeze from Moda.  Also fat quarter bundles and charms that have the entire collection of prints.

If you were considering a blue and yellow quilt you will want to come and check out this collection!  Beautiful and a breathe of spring!

Here is a sample of some of the pieces.  I think I need to call Sue and add some of that to my next box…Especially since it is April 1st, and snowing here.  I could use that spring feeling!

  1. Sandra-
Like they always say, “If you don’t like the weather in Blacksburg, stick around 10 minutes and it’ll change”! They also said it was gonna be 55 degrees today- APRIL FOOL!
