Upcoming event with Aunt Pitty Pat

Today has been back to cold and dreary after a night of heavy rain.  I miss the sun! I kind of wandered around my sewing room, never really settling on any one project.  Worked on a little of this and a little of that…

I did finish another Aunt Pitty Pat block, look at all the pieces in this little block!  60!  But, it went together with no problem.

Here is a sample of many of the Pitty Pat blocks, 6 inch finished size!

Sue Troyan (aka Aunt Pitty Pat) is a fun teacher, with tons of fabric and history knowledge!  If you have never been to one of her lectures or classes, put it on your ‘bucket list’.  If you would like more information before committing to her next lengthy project, then we have the event for you!

Tuesday, April 12th 7-8:30pm
Join Aunt Pitty Pat for tea, sweets, and a ladies discussion of the unrest in our country, trouble is looming my dear ladies. An announcement will be made about the next block of the month lecture series Aunt Pitty Pat will be conducting; it will again take place on the 3rd Tues of the Month from 7-8:30pm, beginning May 17th. Please call the shop and register for the tea. No charge

(I wonder if she will come dressed like this…)

For those of you who did not participate in the last Aunt Pitty Pats class, making the six inch blocks, I believe there are some kits still available.  They are $240 and include everything to make 36-48 blocks.  Although you have enough fabric to probably make twice that many blocks.  Because you know, what is better then one block with 60 pieces?  Two blocks!

Later, Sandra

  1. Perhaps I should get that kit to work on, on the road…in addition to the other 10 projects up for completion. Here is a newsflash for ya, I sewed binding on 5 quilts and 2 tablerunners at Bee today!! yes this is LISA BURGESS 🙂

    • I am impressed! And what did you do with my friend Lisa Burgess?
